Key Actions and Ongoing Initiatives

• Paperless Operations: Continue the rollout of electronic document management systems and online services to significantly reduce paper use.
• Green Awareness: Promote energy efficiency and sustainability practices during induction, toolbox talks, and monthly briefings.
• Staff Engagement: Maintain our Environmental Focus Group to encourage staff participation, idea-sharing, and decision-making on sustainability.
• Energy Management:
  • Monitor utility usage on all sites as part of our Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Install time clocks and motion sensors on lighting and equipment where appropriate.
  • Arrange for automatic shutdown of IT systems at a designated time each day.
• Sustainable Procurement: Partner with suppliers who prioritise environmental responsibility and encourage ethical, low-impact sourcing.
• Recycling Infrastructure: Expand and improve waste segregation and recycling facilities on sites and offices.
• Eco-Friendly Products: Use environmentally safe cleaning and kitchen supplies.
• Lighting Controls: Install light sensors in low-use areas such as toilets, break rooms, and kitchens.
• Certification: Explore and pursue ISO 14001 Environmental Management System accreditation to formalise and enhance our sustainability performance.

Review and Communication

This Sustainability Action Plan are communicated to all staff via the Employee Handbook, toolbox talks, and regular updates at Senior Management Meetings. We commit to reviewing our environmental performance and this policy annually, setting measurable objectives, and reporting on progress.
