The Caterham project was another exciting opportunity to deliver a standout environment that reflects Banana Moon’s playful identity, professional standards, and commitment to exceptional early years care.

The brief involved transforming a multi-storey office building into a warm, inviting, and fully functional nursery spread across three floors. From the outset, the building presented a unique architectural personality, most notably in its striking curved walls and expansive curved window sections. Rather than conceal or alter these distinctive features, our design embraced them—allowing these sweeping lines and natural light-filled spaces to become centrepieces of the nursery’s look and feel.

Our team carried out a complete renovation, adapting the commercial structure into a child-friendly setting that meets strict regulatory requirements while still offering an engaging and uplifting aesthetic. Each floor was thoughtfully planned to optimise flow, create purposeful learning zones, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for children, families, and staff.

The finished nursery blends Banana Moon’s signature branding with the building’s unique character, resulting in a space that is both functional and visually memorable.
