Bentley Priory Museum

The Nursery & School Renovation Company undertook a significant project at Bentley Priory Museum, a Grade II* listed building in Stanmore, London, which served as the Headquarters for RAF Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain. The museum, established in 2013, preserves and interprets this pivotal site in British history

Scope of the Renovation

The Nursery & School Renovation Company was engaged in various refurbishment works throughout the museum, including:

  • Creation of Themed War Rooms: Designing and constructing immersive spaces that reflect the historical significance of the site during World War II.
  • Relocation of Artifacts: Carefully moving and installing pieces of artwork and historical artifacts to enhance the museum’s exhibits.
  • Development of Storage Areas: Establishing secure and organized storage solutions for the museum’s collections.
  • Interior Decoration: Applying appropriate finishes and decorations to maintain the historical integrity of the building.

Additionally, the company contributed to the design and installation of an educational play area for visiting school children. This outdoor space features play equipment, wet pour surfaces, and artificial grass, providing an interactive environment that extends the museum’s educational offerings beyond the indoor exhibits.
